Praised for their dynamic songwriting, pop-driven lyrics and multi-layered rock instrumentation, alternative pop/rock band Night Argent have been making waves since the debut of their self-titled EP, released in Spring 2016. Since then, the band has been busy in the studio gearing up for a follow-up EP release (to be announced soon), working diligently behind the scenes to the anticipation of fans everywhere. Also known for their flawless cover renditions of songs like Imagine Dragons’Radioactive,” Katy Perry’sLegendary Lovers,” and Elliphant’s Revolusion,” fans are constantly asking the band to cover their favorite songs. Today, Night Argent unveiled an intoxicating cover of Jon Bellion’s hit single, “Guillotine,” shot in just one take from their hometown studio which can be viewed here. The video shows Night Argent in their rawest form, with bassist Evan Taylor laying it down on both bass and guitar at the same time, and emphasizes the band’s vocal harmonies. On the video, and more to come, Chase Manhattan states:

“As a band we have a very clear picture of what our sound is, the direction it’s headed, and the type of original music we want to make. Especially now that we’ve wrapped up recording our 2nd EP together. But as individual musicians we have a very wide and eclectic taste in music and artists, which is something we don’t always get to share with the fans of our music. We decided, as a way to share some of our favorite artists and songs with our fans, to start recording our own broken down versions of songs we typically wouldn’t play in our live show. Not only is it an exciting way for us to push ourselves to explore new things musically, but it’s a way for us to connect with the people who support us and listen to our music, in a new way.”  – Chase Manhattan
